All In. All 41.
From championships to comebacks, Trey Canard proves faith and grit never quit.
FROM THE START
It all started in Oklahoma.
Born and raised in Shawnee, I grew up in a motocross family where two wheels weren’t just a hobby, they were a way of life. My mom says I was a wild kid until the day I started riding. Something about racing gave me purpose, and over the years, that purpose only deepened.
“From my earliest memories of riding, my dad was right there. His voice, his belief, and his example were foundational, not just in shaping the racer I became, but the man I’m still working to be.”
The Climb, the Crashes, the Comebacks
From my first pro gate drop in 2007 to my final season in 2017, racing gave me a decade of lessons, some on the podium, some in the hospital. I won national titles. I broke bones. I learned to chase excellence no matter the cost.
“I raced through pain, joy, loss, and gratitude, and gave 100% effort every time the gate dropped.”
Off the Line, But Still on the Gas
These days, I’ve stepped off the race gate and into the test track. I work full-time with Honda’s R&D team — developing new bikes, training riders, and pushing boundaries behind the scenes. The spotlight’s gone, but the love hasn’t faded.
Faith, Family, and Frankie, Wide Open in a New Season.
I’m a husband, a father, and someone who believes in living slow when the world says go fast. We call Oklahoma home. I still ride. I still laugh. And I will always believe Jesus holds the throttle.
“I try to live the gospel, not just quote it. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about knowing who holds the throttle.”
